The Allegheny County Health Department once again has sufficient supplies of a solution needed for tuberculosis skin tests and will resume routine TB screenings on Tuesday. The screenings were suspended in March due to a shortage of the solution.
Routine screenings, often needed for job and school purposes, can be done from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays at the Health Department's TB clinic, at the Clack Health Center, Building 1, 3901 Penn Ave., Lawrenceville. No appointment is necessary.
The fee is $25 for one-step testing and $35 for two-step testing. More information by calling the TB clinic: 412-578-7901.region - health
