Flu shots

• VA Butler Healthcare will be offering a flu vaccination clinic from 7 a.m. to noon Nov. 7 in the auditorium, building 1, 325 New Castle Road, Butler Township. Veterans not enrolled for VA care may receive their flu shots if they bring a copy of their DD214. Information: 724-285-2223.

• Excela Health will offer Westmoreland County Food Bank recipients free flu shots at 11 pantries during their regularly scheduled food distribution in November. This partnership encourages food bank participants and their families to improve their health while fending off this illness.

• The Diabetes Support Group of Mon-Vale Health Resources is sponsoring a holiday dinner from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Nov. 8 in the Anthony M. Lombardi Education Conference Center of Monongahela Valley Hospital, Carroll. This annual holiday dinner is hosted for individuals diagnosed with diabetes, and a support person may attend.
