Six gardens within easy driving distance of each other will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. next Saturday for the Moon Township Garden Tour.
Tickets, $10, will be sold on tour day 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Moon Municipal Building, 1000 Beaver Grade Road, 15108. The event is sponsored by the Moon Township Garden Club and proceeds go its scholarship fund and other causes.

The 12th annual Edible Flowers Food Fest will be held 7:30 p.m. July 19 at the Buffalo Inn in South Park.
Menu items include baked fish with lemon thyme and Monarda sauce, beef with roses et Poivre, tofu spread with nasturtiums, spring greens with herbal dressing, chicken mole with rose hips, Herbes de Provence bread, rice paper rolls with nasturtiums, vegetables with an Asian dipping sauce, oven-roasted green beans with onion buds, green gazpacho with garlic scapes, chocolate bark with lavender and the ever-popular rose petal ice cream.
This year's speaker is Susan Marquesen, Penn State master preserver, talking about how to preserve flowers and use them in recipes.
Some of the items on the menu are celiac free.
