FLIGHT 93 NATIONAL MEMORIAL DEDICATION
It brought together a remarkable gathering of people associated with Sept. 11, 2001, including two former presidents, the current vice president, families of the passengers, as well as more than 4,000 others.
10 years after the attacks, Americans are in many ways more withdrawn yet also more cognizant of what happens beyond our borders.
For the victims' families, the Rev. Joseph McCaffrey has been a beacon of hope and comfort to those looking for answers when there were none.
Among the hundreds of volunteers who lit candles were dozens of flight attendants who were there to honor their colleagues.

THE 10TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE TERROR ATTACKS
President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama let their actions do the talking. They laid a wreath at the Wall of Names, joining 5,000 people in honoring the crew and passengers who were aboard Flight 93.
For some who were among the first to arrive at the Somerset County crash site in 2001, the emotions are still too vivid a decade later.
A gathering at the Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall and Museum in Oakland remembered the 274 Pennsylvanians who have lost their lives in the battle against terrorism since 2001.
A private service will be held in Shanksville for the interment of remains that were never identified.
