Most restaurants in the Pittsburgh area close on Thanksgiving, Nov. 26, but the following will be open this year. Call to reserve as soon as possible, as most restaurants book up early.
There are a few things to remember about dining out on Thanksgiving: Restaurants usually don't accept special coupons or discounts; credit cards are required to hold a reservation; and even with reservations you might have to wait for your table. But at least someone else will do the cooking -- and the dishes.
