1 6-ounce box white and wild rice mix
1 pound bulk hot or sweet Italian sausage
1 can (10 3/4-ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 1/2 cups French's Taste Toppers french fried onions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare rice mix according to package directions. Transfer to a 2-quart baking dish.
Cook sausage in large skillet until well browned, stirring to separate meat. Drain well.
Stir sausage, soup and 1/2 cup Taste Toppers into rice. Bake uncovered for 15 minutes or until heated through. Stir. Sprinkle with remaining Taste Toppers. Bake 5 minutes until onions are golden. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley, if desired. Serves 6.
Prep time is 25 minutes; cook time, 20 minutes.
