Pittsburgh’s Mellon Arena (formerly the Civic Arena) is a multi-purpose event facility for professional hockey games, ice shows and concerts. It is home to the Pittsburgh Penguins hockey team.

The facility is an engineering marvel, known throughout the world for its retractable dome roof.
