Handmade between 1700 and 1830, this exhibit features lifelike figures and colorful details that recreate the Nativity within a vibrant and detailed panorama of 18th-century Italian village life.
More than 100 superbly modeled human and angelic figures, along with animals, accessories, and architectural elements, cover a 250-square-foot area and create a memorable depiction of the Nativity as seen through the eyes of Neapolitan artisans.

This series celebrates the restoration of the church's Aeolian-Skinner organ with a regular program of music.
Aeolian-Skinner was an important American builder of a large number of notable pipe organs from its inception as the Skinner Organ Company in 1901 until its closure in 1972. Their creations were inspired by organ music's history while embracing contemporary needs.
This evening features a performance of Christmas music with the organ and handbells.

Many of the 100 crèches and nativity scenes are from the Sisters' friends and family. The Sisters are also inviting members of the community to enter their crèches to be displayed at the event. Join the church's congregation for this special night of community and worship setting aside the commercialism of the season and focusing on Christ's birth.
Guests are asked to bring a casserole (meat plus starch/vegy). Salad, dessert and drinks will be provided. Please also bring warm clothes for an outdoor activity and a portable working oil lamp, lantern, torch or other "light" that you can carry, along with the necessary fuel/batteries/candle to power it.
