Third Annual Dirt Monster Race/Walk
North Park  [ venue info ]
11/7/2009 9:30am

Take part in this challenging cross country style race to help people with Obsessive-Compusive Disorder.

Obsessive–Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a mental disorder characterized by intrusive thoughts that produce anxiety, by repetitive behaviors aimed at reducing anxiety, or by combinations of such thoughts and behaviors.

The 5 mile course follows unpaved trails and dirt roads. The 1 mile trail walk follows the gently rolling first section of the race course. Merchandise prizes will be given to the top 3 male and female finishers in the open and masters categories. Awards will also be given to age group winners. They also encourage 3 member teams in male, female and coed divisions. All team members must be individually registered and are eligible for individual awards.

Entry fees start at $15. Proceeds benefit the Obsessive Compulsive Foundation Of Western Pennsylvania. For more information, call (412) 363-6231.
