To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the invention of synthetic rubber, this exhibit features 15 contemporary international artists who have created new works of art fabricated from synthetic rubber.

Invented in German lab in 1909, synthetic rubber is a type of artificially-made polymer material that can experience stress and still return to its previous size without permanent deformation.
