A panel of University of Pittsburgh trustees has agreed to fund preliminary project development for two science lab renovations on Pitt's main campus and construction of a new residence hall at Pitt-Bradford, university officials said.
One of the lab projects voted on last week by the Property and Facilities Committee is the Chevron Science Center First Floor Instructional Laboratories Renovation. The other is the Thomas E. Starzl Biomedical Science Tower 10th Floor East Laboratory Renovation.
The new residence hall at Pitt-Bradford will have three stories and will include 109 beds, mainly configured in two- and three-bedroom suites, officials said.
