Open enrollment announced at 11 Pittsburgh schools

Pittsburgh Public Schools is accepting applications for open enrollment in select grades at 11 district schools.

The spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis until June 15. The student must live in the same geographic region as the school. Transportation is not provided unless there is an existing route with space available.

The 11 schools are: Pittsburgh Manchester PreK-8, Weil PreK-5 in the Hill District, Westwood K-5, Woolslair K-5 in Lawrenceville, Banksville K-5, Fulton PreK-5 in Highland Park, Lincoln K-5 in Lincoln-Lemington, Beechwood PreK-5, Colfax K-8 in Squirrel Hill, Spring Hill K-5 and West Liberty K-5 in Brookline.

All of the schools except Woolslair have kindergarten openings. Most have openings in some of the other grades.
