A teacher at Pittsburgh Perry Traditional Academy, who was accused in February of inappropriately touching a 15-year-old student, also has been charged with sexually abusing a 16-year-old student on school grounds and at his home, according to a complaint filed Wednesday.

Michael White of Homewood South made the 16-year-old do "lap dances" for other male students and invited her to a hotel party that would involve "stripping," according to police.

The girl refused to go to the party, but days later, Mr. White persuaded her to come to his home, where they drank alcohol, smoked marijuana and had sex, according to a criminal complaint.

The 15-year-old student said she initially liked Mr. White, but that things changed when he "wanted too much," according to a complaint. She told police that Mr. White grabbed her breasts and buttocks about 10 times, according to the complaint.

The 30-year-old teacher originally was hired by Pittsburgh Public Schools as a track coach at Brashear High School in March.

In August, he was hired as a career and technical education teacher at Perry, according to district spokeswoman Ebony Pugh.

Ms. Pugh said Mr. White was "removed from the classroom as soon as the district was notified of any inappropriate behavior."

Mr. White is charged with indecent assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, institutional sexual assault of a minor, corruption of minors and selling or furnishing alcohol to minors, among other charges.
