The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is hosting a mayoral candidates' forum, and the public is invited to attend this free civic event. A panel of five editorial writers from the Post-Gazette will ask questions of the four Pittsburgh mayoral candidates to learn their view on taxes, safety, development and other issues confronting the city.
Members of the audience also will have a chance to submit questions to the candidates. Questions may be submitted in advance by emailing them to email@example.com.
The forum will be held Tuesday, Oct. 9, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Senator John Heinz History Center, Strip District. Please call 412-263-1541 to register.
The Post-Gazette editorial writers are Tom Waseleski, Reg Henry, Dan Simpson, Tony Norman and Susan Mannella.
The election is Tuesday, Nov. 6.
