• Bite Bistro, Bellevue, is now offering brunch from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on the last Sunday of each month, starting June 24. The brunch menu includes sweet and savory dishes such as shrimp and grits with chorizo and oven-dried tomatoes and brioche French toast with fruit compote. • Tickets ($75) are on sale at the Sharp Edges and sharpedgebeer.com for the "Ultimate Belgian Bier Dinner," to be held Friday, June 22, before the weekend Great European Beer Festival, at the Sharp Edge Beer Emporium in East Liberty. Culinary director Ray Ellis will prepare the dinner -- pate, fruit and cheese plate, framboise sorbet, Belgian endive salad, baked monkfish, pork tenderloin and Magma gelato -- to be paired with six Troubadours brews from Belgium. Four of the beers have not been previously poured in Pittsburgh.
