The public is invited to the Lawrenceville brewpub to “add atmosphere” to the show.
Ask anyone who has stood in line waiting to get into Hofbrauhaus at SouthSide Works -- the brewery/Bavarian-style restaurant is a big hit. So much so that on Wednesday, Hofbrauhaus Pittsburgh sold its one millionth liter of beer. That landmark was reached just as the popular outdoor biergarten opened for the summer.
The Haus Band (above) serenaded customers who flocked to the garden, which is separated from the river by the bike trail. To celebrate, the restaurant will donate a portion of the proceeds from Father's Day Brunch (served 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.) to Bike Pittsburgh. There will be prizes and gifts for dads, activities for kids and family bike rentals courtesy of Golden Triangle Bike Rentals.
