Leech Tishman said Heather S. Heidelbaugh and Christopher S. Channel, partners, have joined the firm's litigation practice group.

Ms. Heidelbaugh focuses her practice on commercial litigation, oil and gas, intellectual property, product liability and election law litigation. Mr. Channel joined the firm's litigation practice group and environmental, safety and toxic torts practice group. He has defended industrial manufacturers and business owners in claims involving allegations of toxic substances, defective products, premises liability and negligence.

Paul J. Gitnik of Keevican Weiss Bauerle & Hirsch LLC was appointed to serve as a member of the board of directors to Animal Friends of Western Pennsylvania. Mr. Gitnik's practice encompasses the areas of business, estates and trusts, health care, municipal, nonprofit, oil and gas, real estate and tax laws.

He graduated from Duquesne University School of Law, and earned an advanced law degree in taxation from Georgetown University Law Center.

Dingess, Foster, Luciana, Davidson & Chleboski, LLP said Samantha Brutout has joined as an associate attorney. Prior to joining DFL Legal, she was an associate in the litigation and e-Discovery practice groups of K&L Gates.

She earned her J.D. from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law.

Gary J. Ogg, founding member of Ogg, Murphy & Perkosky, was selected as a "Pennsylvania Super Lawyer" in the area of plaintiff's personal injury litigation. Over 30 years, he has represented thousands of clients in a variety of personal injury cases.

Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney said that shareholders Lynn J. Alstadt and Craig G. Cochenour were ranked as 2013 IP Stars in the category of Managing Intellectual Property.

In addition, the Pittsburgh office received a "Tier 1" recommendation from the publication.

Mr. Alstadt was noted for his IP work in patent prosecution, patent contentious, as well as trademark prosecution. With experience handling all types of trademark disputes arising in the computer, medical, metallurgical, chemical and consumer products industries, Mr. Alstadt has successfully registered colors and product configurations in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Recognized for his work on behalf of clients in the life sciences industry, Mr. Cochenour is the former chair of the firm's pharmaceutical industry group and has represented clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. He is involved in U.S. and international patent and trademark prosecution, patentability evaluations, patent validity and infringement opinions, freedom to operate analysis, and trademark and service mark screening opinions.

Republican Gov. Tom Corbett has appointed Robert G. Del Greco Jr. to a four-year term on the Judicial Conduct Board of Pennsylvania as a lawyer elector member, a term running through July 2, 2017.

Mr. Del Greco is a Pittsburgh-area lawyer and a shareholder in the law firm of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C., where he concentrates his practice in the areas of criminal and civil defense.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Del Greco served as an assistant district attorney in Allegheny County. He has also served as an adjunct professor at Duquesne University School of Law, and as a hearing committee member of the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.

Brent Morehead has joined Tucker Arensberg's energy practice group as associate. He has extensive experience in the negotiation and preparation of purchase and sales agreements, joint operating agreements, farm-outs, leases and lease modifications, full and partial leasehold assignments, surface use agreements and royalty instruments.

Also, Janet Lloyd is joining Tucker Arensberg as a senior counsel in the employee benefits practice area. She previously worked in the employee benefits area at Bayer Corp., focusing on pension and nonqualified plan issues, and also served as a senior attorney with the Internal Revenue Service, reviewing stock purchase, retirement and other benefit plans for compliance with federal tax laws.

Duane Morris said Kenneth Argentieri is now managing partner of the firm's Pittsburgh office.

Mr. Argentieri, vice chair of the products liability and toxic torts division of the firm's trial practice group, has been a trial attorney for more than 25 years, representing individual and corporate clients in complex litigation, including products liability, defamation, environmental, securities, class action and commercial law.
