John J. Berry and Margaret C. Kucera have joined Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin as associates. Mr. Berry joins the firm's casualty department, where he focuses his practice on toxic tort litigation and products liability. He received his J.D. from Barry University's Dwayne O'Andreas School of Law, where he served on the Executive Board of the Barry Law Review.
Ms. Kucera joins the professional liability department, where she focuses her practice on the defense of various professionals, including architects, engineers and lawyers, in professional negligence claims. She received her J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she served as a legal research assistant and was associate editor of the Journal of Law and Commerce.
Arthur L. Schwarzwaelder was named as Pittsburgh's 2013 Lawyer of the Year by the Peer Review Guide, Best Lawyers in America, in the field of plaintiffs medical malpractice Law. He also has been recognized as a 2013 Pennsylvania Super Lawyer in this same practice area. Mr. Schwarzwaelder is the founding member of Schwarzwaelder Law Offices, and has represented clients in personal injury and commercial litigation matters for over 30 years. He is a fellow with the American College of Trial Lawyers, and a member of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County.
