The Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh named Kristina K. Williams chief operating officer in addition to her role as chief financial officer.

Rycon Construction Inc. said William J. Taylor, co-founder, president, chief operating officer and chief architect, will be retiring at the end of this year and rehired John Sabatos to fill Mr. Taylor's role as president and chief operating officer. Mr. Sabatos was previously Rycon's vice president of operations for five years before leaving and moving on to Developers Diversified Realty in Cleveland.

Russell Standard Corp. hired Nathan Schroeder to its road construction technical sales team.

Variety the Children's Charity of Pittsburgh appointed Brian S. Martin to its board of directors.

Dr. Martin is chief of dentistry at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC and is president of its professional staff. Dr. Martin is also a clinical assistant professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.
