John D. Fry, president and owner of Procurement Specialty Group Inc., was elected chairman of the board of Mon-Vale Health Resources Inc. and chairman of the board of trustees of its subsidiary, Monongahela Valley Hospital, Inc. R. Carlyn Belczyk was elected vice chairman, and Jeff M. Kotula was elected secretary of both boards. Ms. Belczyk is a certified public accountant, accredited in business valuations and a certified valuation analyst. She began her career in public accounting in 1986 and, together with Randy Guthrie, formed Guthrie, Belczyk & Associates PC. Mr. Kotula is president of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce.

The Children's Home of Pittsburgh & Lemieux Family Center said Diane Hupp joined its board.

Ms. Hupp is vice president and chief nursing officer for Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC.

Dr. Michael Semelka was appointed program director of the family medicine residency program at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital.
