The state Department of Education provided the average SAT scores it received from the College Board for both public and nonpublic schools throughout the state to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Here are scores for schools that had more than 10 students who said they were members of the Class of 2003 take the test during their high school careers. The SAT, a college entrance exam, has two parts -- verbal and math. A score of 200 to 800 points is possible on each.
