Three Rivers Fishing Classic

The Three Rivers Fishing Classic is an amateur fishing tournament for people of all ages to raise money for the youth sports leagues of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania.

Prizes include more than $2,000 in sporting goods and trophies will be awarded to winners in a number of categories. The GRAND PRIZE winner for the "Lunker," or largest catch of the day, is a $500 Gift Certificate from Dick's Sporting Goods!

Following the Fishing Classic, the Dollar Bank Jamboree at the Point features a day of family entertainment, including children’s activities and musical performances by local and national country talent. The Dollar Bank Jamboree at the Point will feature performances by country favorites to be announced at a later date.

All events are in Point State Park. Proceeds from the Three Rivers Fishing Classic and T-shirts and beverages sold at the event will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Western Pennsylvania.

If you are interested in participating in this year's Fishing Classic, please look in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette for entry forms this summer. The event is limited to the first 500 registrants.

The event is co-sponsored by the Post-Gazette Dapper Dan Charities, American Bridge, Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania and Dollar Bank

Proceeds from all Dapper Dan Charities events fund the sports programs of Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania including flag football, RBI baseball, basketball, field hockey, golf and wrestling.
