The latest entry in the talk show race is the comedy Web series "Love Me Cat" on My Damn Channel.

Created by TV writer and producer Eric Kaplan, co-executive producer of "The Big Bang Theory," it stars puppets -- a hairless cat host and his owl sidekick, which are voiced by Mr. Kaplan and "Community" co-executive producer Andy Bobrow.

Each episode is an interview with a celebrity guest. The lineup includes actor and writer Andy Richter ["Conan," "Arrested Development"], "Big Bang Theory" cast members Johnny Galecki, Mayim Bialik, Melissa Rauch and "Community" cast members Gillian Jacobs and Danny Pudi.

Episodes post Monday through Friday.

"Love Me Cat" was funded in part by a Kickstarter campaign. People who contributed can share their own ideas for the show with its creators via a virtual writers' room, live chats and Google+ Hangouts.

Pro Football Hall of Famer Joe Namath will host a new podcast premiering Aug. 26. "The Joe Namath Show" is presented by PodcastOne and Sports USA Media.

Podcast One, which launched in February, carries a range of podcasts and radio shows on demand, with hosts Adam Carolla, Dennis Miller, Tom Green, Penn Jillette and others.

It will add several other new sport talk shows to its lineup, including "Conversations With Joe Morgan," "The Ross Tucker Football Show" and "Against the Grain With Dave Miller."

Crackle will premiere a new online drama Sept. 5.

"Extraction" is a 90-minute show that centers on a U.S. Black Ops member's pursuit of a terrorist arms dealer.

The cast includes Danny Glover, Sean Astin and Jon Foo.
