C.J. McCollum

Lehigh • G • 6-3 • Senior

McCollum has led the Mountain Hawks to the NCAA tournament in two of the past three seasons. He became a household name during last year's tournament with a 30-point performance in Lehigh's 75-70 first-round upset of Duke. He averaged 21.9 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game as a junior.

Trey Burke

Michigan • G • 6-0 • Sophomore

Michigan shared the Big Ten title last year and even spent some time in the Top Ten and a big reason is the playmaking ability of Burke, who was a freshman. Burke was an honorable mention All-American last year and averaged 14.8 points, 4.6 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game.

Cody Zeller

Indiana • C • 7-0 • Sophomore

Zeller is a player-of-the-year favorite and a big reason the Hoosiers are No. 1 in numerous preseason polls. He averaged 15.6 points and 6.6 rebounds. Those numbers should improve as he becomes more involved in the offense. He is also a good shot blocker (1.2 per game) and he shot 62 percent (200 of 321) from the field.

Deshaun Thomas

Ohio State • F • 6-7 • junior

Thomas is a versatile player and a huge part of the Buckeyes' success last season. He started every game, scored in double figures in 35 of 39 and was his team's best player in its run to the Final Four. He averaged 15.9 points and 5.4 rebounds in the regular season. Those numbers ballooned to 19.2 and 7.6 in the postseason.

Doug McDermott

Creighton • F • 6-7 • Junior

McDermott was a first-team All-American last year and the nation's third-leading scorer, averaging 22.9 points and 8.2 rebounds. He is an inside-outside threat as he shot .486 (54 of 111) from 3-point range. His father, Greg, is the head coach at Creighton.
