Is he or isn't he? Rumors continue to float that Steve Carrell will appear in the series finale of NBC's "The Office."
Perez Hilton, for one, says even though executive producer Greg Daniels recently implied that the man who was "Office" manager Michael Scott would not be back, "inside sources" said Carrell would be there for the ninth season send-off, although most likely in a cameo role.
Tom Cruise has signed a deal to continue as Ethan Hunt in a fifth movie installment of "Mission: Impossible." It's believed that his "Jack Reacher" collaborator, Christopher McQuarrie, will direct, while the busy J.J. Abrams ("Star Trek"; "Star Wars") will produce. Cruise and Abrams worked together on the third film and put Brad Bird at the helm of "Mission: Impossible -- Ghost Protocol." Oscar nominee Jeremy Renner joined the team for "Ghost," which had a $145 million and a worldwide gross of nearly $700 million, the best for any Cruise film, according to Deadline.com.
