Bill and Giuliana Rancic will become parents any day now, People reports.
The E! News host, 37, and her reality TV star husband are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their first child, a son, via gestational surrogate. And they're traveling to his birth place to be ready for the big day.
"Waiting for that call any day now!" Bill, 41, tweeted on Tuesday. The day before, he and Giuliana flew to Colorado, where their son will be born, for a "babymoon" prior to the baby's arrival.
"We're setting up shop in Vail," Bill recently told TooFab.com, explaining that their surrogate will deliver in Denver.
"We're going to just chill out there until the little guy comes ... He could come in 10 days, he could come in two weeks. He's really going to dictate how long our babymoon is."
Giuliana underwent a double lumpectomy in October and a double mastectomy in December after being diagnosed with breast cancer. The disease was discovered in the early stages while the couple were undergoing their third round of in-vitro fertilization.
There wasn't a dull moment over the weekend for Ryan Lochte, People reports.
Lochte, who has been partying in Sin City since Thursday, was sure to cover all of his bases.
On Sunday, the athlete enjoyed an extended birthday dinner at Bacio Italian restaurant inside the Tropicana Las Vegas with a large group of guys, including fellow Team USA swimmers Cullen Jones and Conor Dwyer.
"Ryan sat on the outside of the restaurant, where women walking by went crazy over him, screaming and waving," an onlooker said. "They were snapping photos."
Lochte - who munched on salad, pasta, sea bass and salmon - was brought a special Olympic-themed cake at the end of the meal, which he tweeted about, that even included his signature term, "Jeah." (Lochte turned 28 on Aug. 3.)
After dinner, Lochte closed out the weekend with a trip to XS nightclub inside Encore for the venue's Sunday Nightswim party.
"Ryan hung out in the deejay booth" with duo Manufactured Superstars, an observer said, adding that the fully clothed Olympic swimmer was not dressed in his usual pool attire. "He was a good sport in posing for photos with groups of ladies, and stayed at the party late into the morning."
Another self-published erotic hit has found a major publisher, the AP reports.
St. Martin's Press announced Tuesday that it had acquired Sara Fawkes' "Anything He Wants (Dominated by the Billionaire)," which has appeared on the best-seller lists of Amazon.com and USA Today since the first of five planned e-installments came out in May. St. Martin's will release the fifth volume in September, then issue all five books in print and electronically in November.
The plot might ring a bell for "50 Shades of Grey" fans: The sexed-up adventures of a billionaire CEO and an office temp. "50 Shades" was originally self-published by E.L. James and has sold millions of copies since being acquired by Vintage Books in the spring.
Calling it a "miracle" she's still alive, Rosie O'Donnell suffered a heart attack last week and is now recovering at home, People reports.
O'Donnell, 50, credited her survival to quick Internet research on her painful symptoms and a Bayer aspirin she had seen recommended in ads.
"Thank god/saved by a tv commercial/literally," she wrote Monday in her usual verse form on her blog.
O'Donnell said she had a stent inserted after doctors found that her coronary artery was 99 percent blocked. In a statement on Monday, her rep Cindi Berger tells People, "She is now home and resting comfortably. She is very, very lucky."
"They call this type of heart attack/the Widow Maker/i am lucky to be here," she wrote.
Earlier this month, O'Donnell, 50, shared the news that her fiancee Michelle Rounds was diagnosed with desmoid tumors, a very rare affliction.
O'Donnell said her own health problems started on Aug. 14 after she helped "an enormous woman" struggling to get out of her car in a parking lot in Nyack, N.Y.
A few hours later, her chest ached, both arms felt sore as if they were bruised, she became nauseous, and had clammy skin.
"maybe this is a heart attack," she wrote. "i googled womens heart attack symptoms/i had many of them/but really? - i thought - naaaa."
She took the aspirin recommended for people who think they are suffering a heart attack but didn't call 911. She said that hundreds of thousands of women die each year of heart attacks and that many never dial the emergency number.
"by some miracle i was not one of them," she wrote, adding: "know the symptoms ladies/listen to the voice inside/the one we all so easily ignore/CALL 911/save urself."
File this under "Things That Are Less Likely to Happen Than Hell Freezing Over" ... Donald Trump Tuesday sent Rosie O'Donnell a get-well message, TMZ reports. Seriously.
Trump - who has habitually trashed Rosie as a "degenerate," a "pig," and a "loser" over the years - learned his arch-enemy suffered a heart attack earlier this month and Tuesday he responded by sending her the following message on Twitter:
"Rosie, get better fast. I'm starting to miss you!"
And Rosie responded in a friendly manner, writing back ...
"well thank u donald - i must admit ur post was a bit of a shock ... r u trying to kill me ? xx"
Following a serious motorcycle accident that occurred over the weekend, Wynonna Judd's husband and drummer, Michael Scott "Cactus" Moser, has had his left leg amputated, People reports.
During the accident - when Moser collided with an oncoming vehicle - his left leg was "severed" says Judd's rep. Moser, 55, was then transported to a hospital in Rapid City, S.D., where doctors were forced to amputate above the knee.
Doctors also performed surgery on one of Moser's hands.
"The outpouring of prayer and support from friends, family and fans has been a blessing to both Cactus and I. Cactus is a champion. I love him deeply and I will not leave his side," Judd said in a statement released Sunday.
Judd, 48, and Moser, 55, exchanged vows in June during a ceremony at the singer's home in Tennessee.
