A new reality star is born!

Kourtney Kardashian and boyfriend Scott Disick have welcomed their second child, a daughter named Penelope Scotland Disick, born early Sunday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, reports E! News.

"Scott and I are overjoyed to welcome our precious angel Penelope Scotland Disick into our lives. We are forever blessed. Mommy and baby are resting comfortably," the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star -- who, with Disick, is already parent to 2-year-old son Mason -- told E! News.

Their new arrival weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces and was delivered via an all-natural birth, according to the report.

"It was a great. She had an easy delivery," matriarch Kris Jenner told E! "[Penelope] is so cute. She looks just like Mason. She's so beautiful. We are so happy."

On Monday, sister Kim shared her elation on her blog, writing, "The whole family is so thrilled to finally meet her! She is absolutely perfect! I am so excited to be an aunt again and can't wait to spoil little Penelope. I know Mason is going to be the best big brother in the whole world."

The odds are definitely in Philip Seymour Hoffman's favor.

Sources tell E! News exclusively that the Oscar winner has signed on to play Plutarch Heavensbee in "Catching Fire," the much anticipated second movie in "The Hunger Games" trilogy.

"The deal was made right before the Fourth of July holiday," one source said.

Lionsgate does not comment on casting until something is official. An announcement about Hoffman is expected to be released any day now.

The Hollywood Reporter reported that the 44-year-old actor was offered the role on June 11.

Heavensbee is the new Head Gamemaker who may (or may not) be more loyal to reigning champ Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) than the diabolical President Snow (Donald Sutherland).

"Catching Fire" is set to start shooting in the fall with director Francis Lawrence replacing Gary Ross.

Hoffman was most recently seen on Broadway with "The Amazing Spider-Man" star Andrew Garfield in the hit revival of Arthur Miller's "Death of Salesman."

Today is Bricolage Day in Pittsburgh.

The Pittsburgh City Council is slated to announce the proclamation at 10 a.m. at the City-County Building, fifth floor, 414 Grant St., Downtown, with artistic directors Tami Dixon and Jeffery Carpenter and Bricolage staff on hand.

During the past 10 years, Bricolage has been a prolific participant in the Downtown cultural scene, providing audiences with a broad spectrum of original works, adaptations, collaborations and interactive experiences. The company uses "what's at hand" to combine existing elements -- physical, social, political, cultural -- into new visceral, meaningful theatrical experiences for artists and audiences alike, according to a Bricolage press release.

"Bricolage is a welcome fixture in Pittsburgh's vibrant art scene," says Councilwoman Natalia Rudiak. "I am honored to be able to honor this theater company for their ground-breaking work."

Spoiler alert: The "American Idol" judges table could look very different this fall.

Sources confirm exclusively to E! News that along with Adam Lambert, "Idol's" big bosses are also considering some other notable names to join the cast, including: Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Fergie, Katy Perry and (frequent "A.I." mentor)

So how many new judges will there be? And who's most likely to get the gig?

"No one has signed any contracts yet, and producers are currently putting out feelers and setting up meetings to see who they can get," one "Idol" source said. "We won't know if Randy [Jackson] and Steven [Tyler] are returning until they see who else is on board."

A rep for Fox declined to comment for this story.

According to sources, the "American Idol" higher-ups all agree they want Jennifer Lopez back, however, the megastar isn't planning to return. And while "Idol's" big bosses are fans of Randy and Steven, they also would like to breathe some new (possibly younger) life into the series to compete with "X Factor," which recently cast Britney Spears and Demi Lovato.

Auditions for season 12 of "American Idol" are under way -- the producers' rounds, with no judges in attendance. Monday, they were in Chicago with three more cities to go. So the clock is ticking on finalizing the cast.

There is trouble on the set of Sandra Bullock's latest movie, "The Heat," People reports.

In a scene that looks right out of her action hit "Speed," a city bus slammed into an on-set trailer in the Roxbury section of Boston Monday where the movie, about an FBI agent who teams with a local Boston police officer to take down a Russian mobster, is filming.

The movie co-stars Melissa McCarthy and is directed by her "Bridesmaids" director, Paul Feig.

At least 11 people were reportedly taken to the hospital after the accident, although none had life-threatening injuries. Photos show a number of people on stretchers being treated by paramedics.

The accident happened outside the Roxbury Municipal courthouse on Warren Avenue at about 9:30 a.m., reports.

Reps for Bullock and McCarthy did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Sara Ramirez had more to celebrate than just Independence Day this Fourth of July: She also tied the knot.

"The Grey's Anatomy" star, 36, said "I do" to Ryan Debolt during an intimate ceremony in New York on Wednesday, her rep tells People.

The wedding was attended by close family and friends.

Ramirez and Debolt got engaged in Paris last summer. This is the first marriage for the actress.

The kids from Riverdale are no strangers to high school angst, worries about fitting in or music. Neither are the teens from "Glee."

Now, Archie, Betty, Veronica and Riverdale's resident boy genius Dilton Doiley are set to match wits -- and maybe a vocal or two -- with Finn Hudson, Kurt Hummel and Rachel Berry in the pages of "Archie Comics," the publisher says.

Co-chief executive officer Jon Goldwater said Monday the crossover is set for later this year or early 2013 and will encompass four issues in the ongoing "Archie" title. The plot is a closely held secret.

It's being written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, one of the Fox network television show's writers, and features multiple characters from both the long-running comic book and the Fox show now in its third year.

Now that Christopher Nolan is done with his epic Batman trilogy, the filmmaker has quashed speculation that he might be involved in a "Justice League" movie featuring the Dark Knight, the Associated Press reports.

Writer-director Nolan said his take on Batman wraps up with "The Dark Knight Rises," his third and final film centered on the DC Comics superhero. In an interview over the weekend to promote the finale, Nolan said he has no "Justice League" plans.

"No, none at all," Nolan said. "We're finished with all we're doing with Batman. This is the end of our take on this character."

Fans have conjectured that Nolan might return to Batman by producing a big-screen take on "Justice League," DC Comics' "Avengers"-style ensemble whose key superheroes include the Dark Knight, Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern.

Nolan guesses that the "Justice League" rumors started because of his involvement as a producer on next summer's Superman relaunch, "Man of Steel."

He also said he not intend to get involved with any future solo Batman films when distributor Warner Bros., which owns DC Comics, decides the time is right to launch a new take on the masked vigilante.

"Batman will outlive us all, and our interpretation was ours. Obviously, we consider it definitive and kind of finished. The great thing about Batman is he lives on for future generations to reinterpret, and obviously, Warners will have to decide in the future what they're going to do with him," Nolan said. "We've had our say on the character. ...

"I've got no plans to do anything more and, certainly, no involvement with any 'Justice League' project."
