Accounting

Kathleen Onuska has joined the public accounting firm of Cottrill, Arbutina & Associates as an auditor and accounting consultant in Beaver. She is a member of the firm's Contract Services Group.

Education

The Rev. Ray French was named vice president for mission and identity at Duquesne University, effective July 1. He will succeed the Rev. James P. McCloskey, who has been appointed the new president of Holy Ghost Preparatory School in Philadelphia.

Kelly Meinhart, a licensed professional counselor who specializes in working with children and young adolescents, has joined has joined Cognitive Dynamic Therapy Associates, a multispecialty psychology group with offices in Shadyside/Oakland and Wexford.

Premier Medical Associates announced that new providers are joining its team. Kamal Amin, joins the infectious disease team, Monroeville office; David Baker, specialty in ophthalmology, Forest Hills location; Elizabeth Cabrera, hospital medicine team as a hospitalist; Colin Conway, surgery division and is currently completing training at Allegheny General Hospital; Lisa Kwisnek-Lamantia, hospital medicine team as a hospitalist; Lindsay Lear, ophthalmology, Forest Hills office; Ken McGaffin, internal medicine and cardiology, Penn Crossing; Gaya Muthukrishnan, hospital medicine team as a hospitalist; Phalgun Prativadi, infectious disease team and is currently a fellow in the department of infectious disease at Penn State Hershey Medical Center; Rashmi Yadav, hospital medicine team as a hospitalist.

Insurance

Henderson Brothers hired Donna J. Dietrick, assistant vice president, senior benefits consultant and Susan Marks, assistant vice president, senior underwriting consultant, employee benefits division.

Nonprofit

Hollie Geitner, vice president of client services at WordWrite Communications, was appointed to the board of directors of Circle C Youth and Family Services.

Bridgeway Capital hired Chris Luedy, senior commercial real estate officer; Lisa Macioce, chief financial officer; and Matt Madia, credit analyst.

The National Council of Jewish Women, Pittsburgh Section appointed Andrea Kline Glickman as executive director.

Richard V. Piacentini, executive director, Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens' new Center for Sustainable Landscapes, was appointed to the board of directors for the International Living Future Institute.

Technology

Tollgrade Communications Inc. promoted Thomas J. Kolb to chief operating officer.

Awards and Honors

Regina Beatty was selected to join the 2013 Advanced Select Member group of Lincoln Financial Advisors Corp./ Sagemark Consulting, (LFA/Sagemark), as part of the firm's Sagemark Consulting - Private Wealth Services program which focuses on clients in the "High Net Worth" market.

Kevin Zollman of Carnegie Mellon University received a Faculty Early Career Development Award from the National Science Foundation for his project "Incentives, Diversity and Scientific Problem Choice." Mr. Zollman, an associate professor of philosophy in the Dietrich College of Humanities and Social Sciences, will use the five-year, $400,000 award to investigate the economics of science to further understand the relationship between scientists and the incentives they face to secure funding, publish papers and receive promotions.
