Fifteen women from the Pittsburgh region were named recipients of the state's Best 50 Women in Business awards.

Winners from Allegheny County are: Maryanne Barnes, president, Barnes & Associates Real Estate; Leslie W. Braksick, chief executive officer, CLG; Briget M. Chufo, founder and president, Healthy Performance; Alicia Dal Lago, owner, Alicia Photography; Kathleen D'Appolonia, vice president/manager, PNC Financial Services Group; and Martha O'Grady, president and owner, Panta Rhei Media Inc.

Also on the list are Eve Picker, president, No Wall Productions; Karen F. Puchalsky, co-founder and president, Innovative E-Commerce Inc.; Madelyn Ross, managing editor, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette; Dawn S. Rucker, executive vice president and chief operating officer, Brashear LP; Pam Selker Rak, president, CommuniTech; Laura Stein, senior vice president and general counsel, H.J. Heinz Co.; and Maria Velez de Berliner, president, Latin Trade Solutions Inc.

Winners from Westmoreland County are Joyce P. McIntire, president, McIntire Insurance Co.; and Kelli A. Prucnal, vice president, Carol Harris Staffing LLC.
