Ansoft estimates raised slightly

Parker/Hunter Inc. nudged up its fourth-quarter earnings-per-share estimate for Ansoft Corp. [Ticker: ANST] after the South Side software company reported third-quarter earnings of 15 cents a share, beating Parker/Hunter's estimates by a penny. For the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2002, Parker/Hunter now expects earnings per share of 23 cents, a penny higher than its previous estimate. The brokerage maintains an "accumulate" rating, a price target of $18, and an earnings-per-share estimate for 2003 of 60 cents.
