Christian D. Bareford joined The Law Offices of Ira Weiss as an associate attorney.

Most recently, Mr. Bareford practiced labor law as assistant county solicitor for Allegheny County. Previously, he practiced employment and civil litigation law with firms in both Pittsburgh and Wheeling, W.Va. He received his law degree from Duquesne University.

Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney announced the addition of two government relations professionals, Alexandra N. Brunory and Meghan W. Fisher, to the firm's Pennsylvania government relations practice group.

Ms. Brunory has six years of experience in public policy and political outreach, and joins Buchanan after serving as legislative director for U.S. Rep. Tom Price, R-Ga. She also has served as the finance and budget director at the National Republican Senatorial Committee.

Ms. Fisher joins Buchanan as a government relations professional after working at PPG Industries for the last six years, where she led discussions with key policy makers to leverage economic development programs, created and managed company-wide state and federal lobbying compliance processes and assisted in the development of criteria in the political action budget and solicitation strategy.

Meyer, Unkovic & Scott said Michele Sabo Conti and Kevin Israel have joined the firm.

Ms. Conti is an associate and a member of the tax and estate planning, corporate and business law and oil and gas groups.

Prior to joining Meyer, Unkovic & Scott, she was an estate planning attorney for the elder law office of Shields and Boris. She received her law degree from Duquesne.

Mr. Israel is a partner and a member of the tax and estate planning group and corporate and business law group. He earned a law degree at the University of San Diego.

The following attorneys from Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote. P.C. were designated Best Lawyers 2014 Lawyers of the Year in their respective practice areas: Stephen M. Houghton, Pittsburgh insurance law; Robert J. Marino, Pittsburgh legal malpractice law (defendants); and Richard C. Polley, Pittsburgh mass tort litigation and class actions (defendants).

Diana M. O'Connell, associate, Robb Leonard Mulvihill LLP, was selected to become a member of the Young Lawyers Fellows Class of 2013 for the Allegheny County Bar Foundation.

The Young Lawyers Fellows Program was established in 2009 to recognize and honor lawyers who have shown a commitment to excellence in charitable, community, professional and public service activities.

Seven Campbell & Levine attorneys were by selected by their peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America 2014: Douglas Campbell, Stanley Levine, Paul Cordaro, Philip Milch and David Salzman were selected for their work in bankruptcy and creditor-debtor rights and reorganization law.

Mr. Salzman is also recognized in the field of bankruptcy litigation.

Sara Davis Buss and Christopher Rayl were selected in the field of public finance law.

Ms. Buss was also named a Lawyer of the Year in Pittsburgh for public finance law.

Kenneth D'Alessandro has joined The Webb Law Firm.

Mr. D'Alessandro has more than 30 years of experience in obtaining and enforcing electrical, computer science, materials science and medical technology patents.

Prior to joining The Webb Law Firm, Mr. D'Alessandro founded and managed his own intellectual property firms for almost 20 years, and was the head of the patent practice group at a large southwest regional firm in Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico and California.

He received his J.D. from The University of California, Los Angeles, where he was a member of the Law Review.
