David Grecco joined Jones Day as of counsel in the firm's energy practice. He previously served as general counsel of Linn Energy LLC and vice president of legal at Phillips Resources Inc. Mr. Grecco earned his J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law, and was a member of the Duquesne Law Review.



Buchanan Ingersoll and Rooney PC said that Emily R. Lowe was named to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Pittsburgh board of directors. Ms. Lowe is counsel in the firm's corporate section, and she focuses on commercial transactions, including those involving acquisition, use, protection, development and commercialization of technology. The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Pittsburgh provides temporary housing to families who must travel to the Pittsburgh area to get medical care for their children.



Justin T. Papciak joined Feldstein Grinberg Lang & McKee P.C. as an associate in the firm's personal injury litigation group. Mr. Papciak is a graduate of the Duquesne University School of Law.



Dennis J. Roman, shareholder, Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman and Goggin, was named the 2013 Pittsburgh Lawyer of the Year for Legal Malpractice by Best Lawyers in America. For more than 30 years, Mr. Roman has concentrated his practice in the defense of professionals, with particular emphasis on lawyer liability claims. He is a graduate of Duquesne University School of Law, and has an AV preeminent rating with LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell.



Hal D. Coffey joined Blumling and Gusky as an attorney in its real estate practice group. He concentrates his practice on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisition, disposition, leasing, financing, land use, zoning, transfer taxes, reciprocal easements, title and land use.



Meyer, Unkovic and Scott said the following attorneys were named to the Pennsylvania Rising Stars list for 2013:

He graduated from the Emory University School of Law.

Mr. Noble is a member of the firm's business litigation, tort litigation and intellectual property groups. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Ms. Oliver, a member of its intellectual property group, employment law and employee benefits, litigation and dispute resolution group, graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.

Mr. Sommer is a member of its litigation and dispute resolution, employment law and employee benefits, intellectual property, and sustainable development groups. He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Mr. Thompson is member of its litigation and dispute resolution, employment law and employee benefits ,and intellectual property groups. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.

Mr. Yarbrough is a member of the firm's construction law, litigation and dispute resolution, and creditors' rights groups. He graduated from University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
