Malin, Bergquist & Co., LLP hired Marybeth Quashnock Bolam, accountant; Kelley Costa, accountant; and Judith Edwards, administrative assistant.

Associations & Organizations

Dr. Edward D. Snell, Allegheny General Hospital sports medicine specialist, was elected president of Major League Baseball's Team Physicians Association. Dr. Snell is the head team physician for the Pittsburgh Pirates Baseball Club and director of the Primary Sports Medicine Fellowship program at Allegheny General Hospital.

Cohen & Grigsby said attorney Marie Rivera-Johnson was appointed to serve on the Lawyers Advisory Committee of the Judicial Council of the 3rd Circuit. Ms. Rivera-Johnson is an associate in the labor and employment practice group.

Merry Brumbaugh, vice president of tubular products, L.B. Foster Co., was elected 36th President of the National Association of Pipe Coating Applicators.

Physical Rehabilitation Services Inc. promoted Joshua P. Hubert to lead its Wexford/Franklin Park office location. In his new role, he will practice as lead physical therapist.

Noreen Brown was named director of West Penn Allegheny Health System's newly integrated home care program.

Law

Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott promoted attorneys Grant E. Coffield and Rachel Castillo Rosser to members. Mr. Coffield focuses on intellectual property law, including the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, infringement and validity studies, patentability and right-to-use opinions, licensing matters and trademark and copyright issues. Ms. Rosser focuses her practice in the areas of general commercial litigation, mass tort litigation, products liability and employment litigation.

Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis hired Eric J. Werner as a partner. Mr. Werner focuses on business and technology, and corporate law.
