The Ichiban Hibachi and Sushi Bar in Robinson was cleared to reopen today by the Allegheny County Health Department after being shut down Wednesday for inadequate refrigeration and storing food at unsafe temperatures.

The follow-up inspection found that the walk-in cooler and two other units had been repaired, according to a health department report posted this afternoon. Another follow-up inspection was set for July.

The restaurant, at 1160 Park Manor Blvd., was previously hit with a consumer alert in April for the same critical violations.

Inspection reports for Ichiban and other Allegheny County restaurants are available online at http://webapps.achd.net/Restaurant/.
