Specially trained crews worked to save a horse after it collapsed Saturday in Beaver County, KDKA-TV reports.
It happened at a farm on Steinbaugh Road in New Sewickley Township.
Rescuers say the horse collapsed in a field over a hillside.
Firefighters and specially trained crews from the Big Knob and Daugherty Township Farm Rescue Team were able to put the horse on a sled and drag it up the hill.
The rescue team is the only one of its kind in Western Pennsylvania.
It’s unclear why the horse collapsed, but it was lying on its side while rescuers water it down and kept it cool.
