Pittsburgh police investigating Perry South shooting

Police are investigating a shooting this morning in Perry South.

An 18-year-old man was shot around 11 a.m. while riding his bicycle on Strauss Street near its intersection with North Charles Street.

He was shot in the arm, said public safety spokeswoman Sonya Toler, and has been transported to Allegheny General Hospital. He was talking and alert, she said.
