A Butler County bakery will remain closed after a chain reaction of vehicle collisions Saturday sent a van into the building.
The windows are broken and the building foundation upset at the HeartFelt Bakery and Bialys in Cabot.
Owner James Bumbarger said it was a miracle no one was hurt after two trucks collided at a nearby intersection, sending one of the vehicles into a van parked in bakery parking lot.
The van went into the building, but not before a customer saw the collision and yelled "Look out!"
"Everybody ran to the side," said Mr. Bumbarger. "They didn't freeze. They just scattered."
There were still ball bearings from the vehicle inside his shop.
Mr. Bumbarger didn't know how long his bakery will remain closed. His insurance company is sending an adjuster out for inspection on Tuesday.
