UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State coach Bill O'Brien added four more assistant coaches to his staff Monday, bringing the total to seven.

According to a source, the new hires include Buffalo Bills wide receivers coach Stan Hixon, Central Florida defensive coordinator Ted Roof, former Texas offensive line coach Mac McWhorter and Ball State offensive line coach John Strollo.

McWhorter is expected to coach the offensive line at Penn State and Strollo the tight ends.

O'Brien previously hired Charles London, an assistant/quality control coach for the NFL's Tennessee Titans, as running backs coach.

And O'Brien retained defensive line coach Larry Johnson and linebackers coach Ron Vanderlinden from former coach Joe Paterno's staff.
