Pitt forward Robinson to have knee surgery

Pitt senior forward Nasir Robinson will have surgery on his right knee Friday morning, the Pitt athletic department said today.

Robinson is expected to miss three to four weeks but could play in Pitt's season opener against Albany November 11. It is the second surgery on the knee.

Robinson started 21 of 31 games last season, averaging 9.4 points and 4.9 rebounds per game.
