Pitt football players Dion Lewis and Jason Pinkston were selected in consecutive picks in the fifth round of the NFL Draft today in New York.

Lewis was selected with the 149th overall pick by the Philadelphia Eagles, where he'll join another Pitt alum, Lesean McCoy, in the Eagles' backfield.

Immediately after Lewis' selection, Pinkston, a native of Baldwin Borough, went to the Cleveland Browns.

They are the third and fourth Pitt players selected in the 2011 draft.

Cleveland also took Pitt's Jabaal Sheard yesterday in the second round, and Kansas City took Aliquippa native Jonathan Baldwin late in the first round.
