Pitt moves to No. 2 in rankings

Pitt moved up three spots to No. 2 in the new Associated Press poll that was unveiled this afternoon. The Panthers received one first-place vote and jumped over Syracuse, Duke and Kansas.

Syracuse lost twice last week and Kansas lost for the first time on Saturday.

Ohio State received 63 of the 65 first-place votes and remained at No. 1.

The Panthers play host to No. 15 Notre Dame tonight at the Petersen Events Center.
