The New Jersey pipeline to Pitt has produced yet another player for the Panthers as Woodbridge defensive end Max Issaka gave them a verbal commitment today.

Issaka, who is the fifth New Jersey player from the class of 2011 and 14th from the state to pick the Panthers in the past three seasons, chose Pitt over scholarship offers from Rutgers, Michigan State, Connecticut, North Carolina State and Maryland.

He said his finalists were Pitt and Rutgers.
