Two women comfort each other during
the procession to St. Mary Cemetery in Rasharkin, County Antrim, after the funeral mass
for the three Quinn brothers (Richard, 10; Mark, 9; Jason, 8) who died in their beds after
an early morning firebombing on July 12. The boys lived in a predominantly Protestant
housing area in Ballymoney with their Catholic mother and her Protestant boyfriend. The
mother insisted on a Catholic burial. Police believe the mother's religion was a cause of
the firebombing, which has been blamed on a Protestant paramilitary group.
