WTAE's Sally Wiggin will be inducted into the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame next spring.

Ms. Wiggin, who hosts the station's documentary series, "Chronicle," and is part of WTAE's "Black & Gold Primetime," also champions many charities.

The Kalamazoo, Mich., native and University of Alabama graduate came to WTAE in 1980. She eventually co-anchored the weekday evening news: 16 years at 11 p.m., 22 years at 6 p.m. In June 2013, she left the anchor desk to begin hosting "Chronicle."

"I continue to have a rewarding career, and this honor is a testament to the incredible people whom I have known and worked with for decades," she said. "I am very grateful to do what I love."
