The City of Pittsburgh looked great in broadcasts of A&E's "Those Who Kill." Unfortunately for the crime drama, ratings have not.

The cable network pulled the show from its Monday night lineup after two episodes, according to a report from The Hollywood Reporter. An A&E publicist confirmed the move. The show was filmed here last fall and is set in Pittsburgh.

The March 3 debut drew lackluster ratings, 1.4 million viewers and a 0.5 19-49 rating. Its critical and popular lead-in at the 9 p.m. time slot that night, the Season 2 premiere of "Bates Motel," drew roughly 3 million.

Even fewer viewers tuned in for a second look at "Those Who Kill" on March 10: less than 900,000 (and a 0.3, 18-49 rating).

The network will begin airing repeats of "Bates Motel" at 9 and run new episodes at 10 p.m. in place of "Those Who Kill."

This doesn't yet mean the end for "Those Who Kill" as the A&E publicist also confirmed that the network will announce a new time slot for "Those Who Kill" within a few days.

Based on the books by Danish author Elsebeth Egholm, "Those Who Kill" is an American take on the Danish series. Stars Chloe Sevigny and James D'Arcy spent about four months in Allegheny and surrounding counties shooting nine episodes. The pilot was shot in late 2012.

Critical reviews for the show were mixed.
