PBT announces new chairman

The Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre will start its 45th season with new leadership on its board of trustees.

Michael C. LaRocco succeeds James E. Crockard as chairman of the board. Mr. LaRocco of Sewickley is founder, president and CEO of American Made LLC on Neville Island, a manufacturer of plastic liners for trucking and other industries. The Penn State University graduate has been on the ballet board since 2004 (he had been the vice chairman) and also serves on the board for the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium.

The new vice chairman will be Mark Popovich, who also has been on the board since 2004. He is managing director in the Pittsburgh office of the mortgage banking firm of Holliday Fenoglio Fowler.
