The new stage version of "Fatal Attraction" and the long-running comedy "The 39 Steps" have just been confirmed for the 2014 Post-Gazette Critic's Choice theater tour to London, March 9-16. Along with history, street life, palaces, museums, pubs and daffodils in bloom, the trip includes the following:

* "Stephen Ward," Andrew Lloyd Webber's new musical about the sensational Profumo affair.

* "The 39 Steps," the popular comic adaptation of the novel and Hitchcock film.

* "Jeeves and Wooster in Perfect Nonsense," featuring the ineffable Bertie and unflappable Jeeves.

* "Fatal Attraction," a sympathetic adaptation of the film, directed by Trevor Nunn and starring Natascha McElhone, in previews.

Critic's Choice tours are informal, led by senior theater critic Chris Rawson. We stay at the Bloomsbury Street Hotel, in walking distance of the British Museum and West End theaters. You can see more plays and take in London's other attractions, using the bus and subway pass provided.

Included are round-trip air between Pittsburgh and London; transfers between the London airport and hotel; full English breakfasts; welcoming dinner; four theater tickets; bus and subway pass; a guided London walking tour; and taxes, VAT and gratuities.

The basic tour price is $3,337, double-occupancy; single supplement is $697. Registration requires a deposit of $500 per person. All payments are to be made to Gulliver's Travels Inc., 460 S. Graham St., Pittsburgh PA 15232-1210. For more information, call Gulliver's at 412-345-7576. For more on the specific plays or London sights, call Mr. Rawson at 412-216-1944.
