Tim Kazurinsky will step in as the Wizard during 'Wicked' tour stop in Pittsburgh

The “Wicked” national tour announced today that three cast members will disappear and new ones will appear in their place for the final five days of the Pittsburgh run of the PNC Broadway Across America offering.

Tim Kazurinsky, a Johnstown native and “Saturday Night Live” alum, will replace John Davidson as a the Wizard on Feb. 5, when Nick Adams as Fiyero and Jenny Florkowski as Nessarose also join the cast. Among his Broadway credits, Erie native Adams was in the original cast of “Priscilla Queen of the Desert,” and he tweetedSunday, “Excited to be back in the Burgh!”

The tour cast also includes Alison Luff as Elphaba, Gina Beck as Glinda and Alison Fraser as Madame Morrible. “Wicked” is at the Benedum Center Wednesday through Feb. 9; more information, trustarts.org or 412-456-4800.
