Harry Potter and friends are ready for the road after an extended run in New York. The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust will present the hit off-Broadway show "Potted Potter -- The Unauthorized Harry Experience -- A Parody by Dan and Jeff" Nov. 20-24 at the Byham Theater.

"Potted Potter" is written and performed by former BBC Television hosts Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner. In 70 madcap minutes, the play condenses all seven Harry Potter books using costume changes, songs and props and invites audiences to engage in a Quidditch match, but according to Clarkson-Turner rules. "Potted Potter," which arrives as part of the Cohen & Grigsby Trust Presents series, was a critic's pick by The New York Times and earned a 2012 Olivier Award nomination for Best Entertainment & Family Show.

Tickets, starting at $35, go on sale July 31, Harry Potter's birthday, for shows at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 20-21, 8 p.m. Nov. 22; 2 and 8 p.m. Nov. 23; and 1 and 6:30 p.m. Nov. 24. For tickets and info, www.trustarts.org or 412-456-6666. (More at pottedpotter.com and on Twitter at @PottedPotter.)
