The Boss is coming back!
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will perform at Consol Energy Center 7:30 p.m. April 22. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at Ticketmaster.com.
His last stop in Pittsburgh was October 2012 at Consol, where he played one of the longest and most energetic shows he has ever done here. It was the Post-Gazette's No. 1 concert of the year.
Springteen is on tour in Australia -- where he recently covered AC/DC's "Highway to Hell" -- and will follow that with two dates in New Zealand. The U.S. tour begins April 8 in Cincinnati and will also hit Columbus, Ohio, April 15 and Hershey, Pa., May 14.
He is touring on his latest studio album, "High Hopes," which debuted at No. 1 in 20 countries last month.
